DatapointLabs has delivered a database of hyperelastic properties of rubber materials to Matereality. Properties include uniaxial, biaxial and planar (shear) tension data on many common rubber materials including EPDM, latex, silicone and butyl. This new collection provides high value 'generic' data to Matereality users who wish to perform first-pass FEA with real data before progressing to more detailed analysis with properties of their specific material.

Expanded capabilities are now available to test sheet metals for forming applications. TestPaks for several LS-DYNA sheet metal forming material models are now available, particularly the LS-DYNA MAT036 model (3-Parameter Barlat Model), which includes Lankford parameters in all 3 directions. If thinning of the metal is not a significant factor, measurements in just two directions can be made and the resulting data reduced to a transversely anisotropic elastic-plastic model LS-DYNA MAT037.

Rate dependent properties can also be measured for use with standard LS-DYNA rate dependent models such as MAT024, MAT019 and MAT123.
